Tabata is a relatively new circuit style intense training program.

The Workout lasts only four minutes, but is one of the longest four minutes you’ll encounter.

The structure of the program is; workout hard for 20 seconds increasing your heart rate to a high level , rest for 10 seconds, complete another 20 seconds and again until you have completed eight full cycle.

The workouts are designed to increase weight loss and physical fitness.

They can consist of a number of exercises to ensure you get an all over body workout, these could be but are not limited to

  • push ups
  • squats
  • sit ups
  • Squat Thrusts
  • Burpees
  • Star Jumps
  • knee raises
  • Mountain Climbers
